At Wayward Ranch we believe all animals are deserving of a wonderful quality of life regardless of their medical or behavioral needs. This program seeks to assist animals with medical or behavioral special needs that are abused, neglected, or unwanted in our local community. Some of these animals come to us as owner surrenders, others as transfers from municipal shelter facilities. Here at Wayward Ranch we can provide them with the individualized care they need to thrive.

This program helps animals with curable medical conditions, incurable but manageable medical conditions, animals with medical conditions so severe they require hospice care, and animals with a variety of behavioral special needs. Each animal is treated as an individual and has their specific needs evaluated and a management program is created for their care.

Many of these animals go on to find forever homes, but others remain in our care for the rest of their lives and we are grateful to be their final home.

You donations to this program allow us to provide veterinary care to animals in need as well as training to help rehabilitate animals with behavioral special needs.
