Truffles

This stunning little gargoyle has a heart of gold and can’t wait to find her forever home!

Truffles was caught with her sister and nephews as part of a colony near us, and even though she’s still settling in, it’s pretty clear that Truffles is going to be a really cool cat once she gets comfortable. She was the most content when they were quarantined and would walk right up to the front of her crate and ask for pets the very first day they got here, while the rest of her family were hiding in the backs of theirs. She would then roll over to show her belly and do silly stretches to keep the person petting her as long as possible.

Since she’s moved into the cat room, her true personality is starting to come out, but because her and another cat aren’t thrilled with each other, Truffles prefers to hang out on the high shelves and just watch people as they move around the room.

Because of this, we think she would do best in a home with her sister, Saffron, or with another very chill cat who will happily coexist with her. She would probably do best with older kids and no dogs, but we haven’t dog tested them yet, so that could change in the future.

Truffles is  about a year old, spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and microchipped, so she’d be ready to go into her new home as soon as we are able to find her one! We don’t have any set adoption fees, but do ask that a donation be made at the time of adoption, and for Truffles we are asking for a donation of $250.
