Peaches foster mom reached out to us, asking if we could courtesy list her to help her reach a broader range of people!

This awesome little girl is an absolute sweetheart who loves to learn! She was found abandoned in a dog run in Brooklyn. She's a little shy until she trust you, but once she does, she just wants to be close to you! She would love a family that is super active because she loves going on hikes, chasing sticks or tennis balls and playing with her toys. Since she's not particularly food motivated, the best way to bond with her is through play times and doing things together.

She's a 2 year old Catahoula Leopard mix who is crate and house trained! She's good with cats and is fine with calm dogs but can get overwhelmed if the other dog is too much for her or if it's a group of dogs. So far, she seems to do better with male dogs than female dogs.

If she sounds like she would be a good match for you, check out her info at Sugar Mutts Rescue or reach out to Amy at (646) 732-3795 or!

We are grateful to have had several wonderful photographers donate their time and skill to photograph our animals and their lives here. While many photos on our site were taken by WRAS Staff Members, others were taken by:
