Moana

Moana came to us when the petting zoo she lived at shut down. Even though she was underage, she was pregnant when she arrived, and soon after gifted us with four beautiful piglets. She raised them well and weaned them naturally and now she is ready to find a family of her own!

Moana is on the smaller side at around 70 lbs, but she is under 1 year old and with pigs growing until they are 4-5 years old, she is not yet fully grown. She is sweet, loves treats and if you are lucky will even ask you for a belly rub! Moana gets along will all other animals and would be a wonderful addition to your home as either an indoor or an outdoor pig. She has only ever lived outdoors but shows signs that she would be able to be potty trained to live indoors.

We are looking to adopt her out to a family that either has at least one other pig or one that is willing to adopt a second pig along with Moana. We find that solo pigs are more likely to be depressed, look for escape routes in fencing, or act out, so while two may seem daunting for a first time pig owner, trust us that when it comes to pigs, two are far easier than one!

Moana Requested Adoption Donation: $200

We are grateful to have had several wonderful photographers donate their time and skill to photograph our animals and their lives here. While many photos on our site were taken by WRAS Staff Members, others were taken by:
