Meatball and Potato
Meatball and Potato are looking for a loving forever home together after all they have been through in their lives. These two originally lived in a home together but when their owner passed they ended up in need. A rescue brought them to New York from the South and placed them into a foster home. One year later, they are still in the same foster home and now the foster can’t reach the original rescue and it seems the rescue has closed their doors.
Where does that leave Meatball and Potato? Luckily their foster family loves them enough to stand by them. They have fully vetted both dogs, and are working with us to try to find them a loving forever home, because as much as they love these little pups, they are not able to keep them.
Meatball and Potato are adult dogs (ages are not known for sure but they appear to be about 5-7 years old) that have lived with dogs and cats successfully in their foster home. They also have been around children often and do well with them. Both dogs are housebroken, used to using wee wee pads.
Meatball is the confident one of the pair and appears to be a Terrier mix. She is outgoing, friendly, and ready to take on the world. Potato looks to be a terrier/hound mix who is a bit more timid. He has come a very long way in the last year he has been in foster care, but he relies heavily on Meatball. He follows her lead whenever he feel nervous and the two are most definitely inseparable.
For now we are working to place Meatball and Potato in an adoptive home as a courtesy listing, but if no home can be found, they will come to us at Wayward Ranch in January. If you are interested in adopting them, you can apply and we will put fully approved adopters in touch with their foster family.
Requested Adoption Donation: $400 for the Pair
