Prescott & Leland

Prescott and Leland came to us when they and their brother (who has since passed away) were saved by a very kind delivery man who saw them suffering from severe eye conditions. He stopped and convinced the woman to whom he was delivering to allow him to bring the kittens to a rescue he knew. Luckily she agreed and we partnered with the rescue to bring the kittens to us and a loving foster home. Our vet has determined that their eye conditions were caused by their mother having feline herpes that she passed on to her kittens.

Leland and Prescott have grown so much since they first came to us! They both surprised us by healing well enough not to require surgery to remove their eyes. Each has one fully functioning eye and another eye that does not function, but they both get around beautifully and you'd never know they were any different when watching them play! Leland is the more playful of the two and is always ready to get into trouble! She loves to wrestle, chase toys, and groom her sister. Prescott is the cuddle bug and will fall asleep in your arms in the strangest positions, happily purring as long as she is with you.

These sister would love a home together and are now both spayed and ready to be adopted!
