2018 Summary

2018 was a very big year for WRAS! Our animal intake/adoptions numbers dropped slightly as a result of our focus being on finding and moving to a new leased property. Above are photos of all of the animals we helped in 2018 and below are our statistics from this year:

Animals in Rescue in the beginning of the year: 19

Animals brought into Rescue in 2017: 42

Total Animals Helped: 61 (7 Cats, 26 Dogs, 1 Hamster, 5 Guinea Pigs, 6 Pigs, 10 Equines)

Dogs: 23% (6 individuals) of our dogs were purebred. 61.5% (16 individuals) were pit bulls or bully breed mixes. 

We fostered out a total of 10 animals to volunteers.

Animals Adopted Out: 24 (19 Dogs, 2 Cats, 3 Horses)

Animals Returned to Rescue: 0
