This gentle old man is a new arrival from the NYC ACC. After living with a loving home for 13 years he found himself at the crowded city shelter when his owner was diagnosed with cancer. We couldn't leave him there, and pulled him a few days later.
We knew that pulling a 13 year old senior may mean he would have medical issues requiring treatment. Argos has two large masses and two small masses, all of which will need to be tested to determine what they are. He also is 100% deaf, but that just means that he adorably needs to be woken up to take one of his slow strolls around the block. We do no know yet if Argos is a hospice case or if he will be available for adoption. That will really depend on what our vet determines his masses to be. Stay tuned for me on this sweet old man!
